      cam ?

I have an lm7 with dished pistons still. I have a cam I picked up cheap. Wondering if anyone has ran anything similar in an lm7. Worried of ptv issues. 242/250 .596 .583 113 I know it's big for a 5.3 but I have it and just curious. Also I am running ls9 gaskets with studs for future boost with stock heads. Thanks Matt

That cam is huge. I wouldn't even run that in a LS7. Sell it and get something more reasonable.

You think that something in the 230s range be better suited. I know alot of people run the 224. I want to try something little more.

Why? The beauty of turbocharging is that you can run a relatively mild can and still make excellent power.

The 224/224 581/581 is an excellent cam for the 5.3. And you can skate by with not changing the converter if its stock stall.
