Rear wheel offset question on '69 442 with disc brakes

I know this question has come up before but I didn't find my answer in searching. I found a set of 18" x 10" wheels (5.50" BS), I read that most guys say 5.75" BS fits best under the car on a 10" wide wheel and since I plan on a disc brake conversion on the rear is the 5.50" BS going to be an issue?

Depends on what size tire you want to run. If you ran 295s, you might have rubbing on the outside. If you ran 275s, it would probably be OK. On my 70 GTO I have 10.5 inch wide wheels with 6.25" of backspacing.
