      It's commonly referred to as "Gravel Guard" and is intend for exactly that purpose...you can buy it through several sources.

      Advance auto sells NiCop in reels at good price
      i'm sure similar stores will carry it also

      I've only seen 2 companies online that sells kunifer and its a tad pricy

      I'm leaning towards this stuff too. Have heard no negative issues. Sounds like a good way to go. May also go with the stainless gravel guard too.
