We are 90% done with the fabrication for the '68 Convertible Chevelle. It should be moving to the body shop in the next week or two, then its only a short time before we have color. The other two ('70 & '72) are right behind it. Here is the console Edwin just finished.. It will be leather wrapped most likely, with the machined piece powder coated.

The front and rear fender flares are complete on the Challenger. Finishing up the inside sheet metal around the sub-frame bracing and the new transmission tunnel. Next we move on to measuring and setting the rear suspension and housing. The new fiberglass pieces have arrived, it won't be long before we are painting..

The Dash and the frame/tunnel bracing is finished on the 69 Camaro.

The Yellow '73 is coming along nicely! Glass is in and we have fit the carbon fiber front clip for final body work. The under dash is near finished and ready for the dash pad install. All carbon fiber body panels are compliments of Anvil Auto. Check them out..

90% of the fab work is complete, just some final mounting of the fiberglass panels/bumpers and then our body shop is taking over..

Do you think the way the fuel tank is mounted it'll end up cracking from vibration? Regular straps would of supported it better? I'm just asking not criticizing.

Its a fair question.. It is rubber mounted between the tank and brackets to reduce vibration. Also, the entire tank was built in house, so the mounting tabs on the tank and the way they were incorporated into the tank housing and braced were fab'd with this specific hanger design in mind.

We feel this design will hold as well or better than straps and it looks much nicer. Ultimately, this is a test car and why we chose to use this particular design for this build. So that if something should be problematic, we can learn and change the design if need be, fairly quickly and easily.

It looks as it can be rotated down, leaving the back bolts in, to get to the sender??
You would not have to drop / support / balance the whole tank to get to the sender / pump if there was a problem.

      I like it!!

Ok, this is going to be a big post. Basically meaning just a bunch of pics.. Which is pretty much the point of this thread, its like a picture book of JCG updates. I am just gonna roll through the shop and post a few pics of each project and where it stands.

This first vehicle is a '67 Camaro, It is in the fab shop and a few cars behind for the paint area

This next one is a '71 Mustang and probably going to be one of my favorites when its completed. I have named her "Hips". She has a custom widened rear end like no other. The pictures do not do her justice, just a thing of beauty. It has been stalled for the moment as we have built a few cars for this customer already and while he gets a chance to enjoy them, we are catching up on some other builds

Below we have a '72 Chevelle with an LSA with an automatic. The fab is about 95% done and it isone of the next few to hit the body shop, while its waiting, we keep adding a lil more and more to some of the custom touches

The next one is not one of full builds, just making mods to the cab and finishing up the firewall a little bit.

This one is a '70 Chevelle. In the fab shop getting all of the suspension components ironed out. JCG subframe and suspension is going to give her a perfect stance and handling on the track that will throw you from the seat..

This '69 Camaro is for a customer from over seas. She also has a widebody, 2" to each side. For me, there isn't too much better than a perfectly executed widebody kit. Keep the stock lines and shape but give her some width. I like walking up on cars like this and not noticing anything in the first moment and then it hits me all at once, Holy Crap, she is sexy and I just can't take my eyes off of her.

This same customer has just contracted us to start a second build for him. We just picked up locally a '73 Camaro in decent shape. In the first day we tore it down and put it onto some rollers. It is gonna be sent to the media blaster next.

This yellow beauty is a '73 Camaro. In the assembly side of the shop. The fenders and hood need painted. The interior needs finished. and some last bit of wiring.

This next one is big for us as its our first mopar build. Its a '70 Challenger. This build has had some major traction. It has also been the center of attention here, because of the controversy that has been circling it. Mopar followers are some of the best in the industry when it comes to brand loyalty. But this is the car we had to work with and it was cheapest for us to use the LS drivetrain. The parts and drivetrain are cheaper and most of everything we do and design is for the LS family. So, for us to use our sub-frame and test our suspension components on a mopar, this was the fastest and most inexpensive way for us to do that. We love a good looking car and can appreciate an awesome car regardless of makes and models. Our goal was to build a bad ass car Aesthetically and Performance based, using our suspension and sub-frame and I feel we have done that here. Have a look and see for yourself. More pics can be found through out this thread.

Modified headers to accommodate the steering shaft..

To be continued.... I have used the maximum number of pics allowed for one post..

      Continued from above...

This next '71 Camaro is in the final 2% of the build. We were waiting on a few parts and have been highly distracted with a couple other projects in the shop, but we have set a goal to have her home in the next few weeks. Everybody is getting anxious for her to be done. Conservative build with an LS3 and an automatic..

This '68 Chevelle Convertible is in the body shop. Very soon we will see it with some color and we can start putting her back together.

And lastly this '68 Camaro test car is the body shop. We are going to use this car to test JCG Products and suspension. Sadly this car has been a slow mover through here. As with anything, we tend to focus on customers builds and the shop stuff takes a back seat. We are really trying to get it ready this year..

So, that brings us current on all the projects in the shop. There are a few others in the storage warehouse. when we get them into one of our shops, you guys will be the first to know...
