Um yeah, that's pretty bad butt! What are the plans for the outside? Paint color close to the frame or a contrasting color?

      Looking forward to seeing more!

lol yes we did get those replaced! and thank you! The chassis is very rigid and it handled amazing last summer! and the manual brakes work very well, we a master cylinder for the front and one for the rear and a balancing bar to connect them to the pedal

Thanks! and the body is at the paint shop now, nearly done because all he had to do was spray and buff. But it's a contrasting color and goes very well with the frame.

Here are the headers, couldn't find any long tubes that would fit where we needed them so it was down to making a set.

      Nice work on the headers.

I'm keeping an eye out for a good deal on a 5.3 or 6.0. I've got 4th gen f body headers laying around that I don't want to put on my Trans Am, so I'm curious if I can make them fit the truck

Thanks! and they would probably work, I believe I tried a set for mine but they didn't line up quite right for what I needed with my frame.

Looking good!.. do you happen to know the part number of the manifold pressure sensor that you used? and also what bolts did you use to mount the intake to the heads.. I'm looking at the stock intake bolts on mine and i'm thinking they are too long....

Thanks! and I'm not sure of the part number on that off the top of my head, I'm not going to be where the truck is for a few days but I can definitely get it for you. The intake bolts were from Jegs, they were ARP LS intake bolts. Not sure of a part # but I can try to find that as well.

Hey I can't seem to find my receipt for those bolts, but I am trying to do a little research and find out which ones they are for sure. Sorry it took so long to get back to you! But I'm in the Columbus area.

I really like this build. I want one similar, although, I have to say that I would like to find one with original patina on the outside and make it all nice and modern on the inside. I am not sure that I want to go through paint and body again.

I agree there! part of me wishes I left if bare steel with maybe some primer, but then on the other hand the paint will look good too.
