Any else had trouble installing the passenger side lower control arm its from global west and for a 1st gen f body..doesnt want to go inside the slots to bolt them up driver side was easy to do

It often happens that the tabs that hold the control arms get smushed when the control arms are tightened, especially with rubber bushings. Take a soft mallet and open up the openings a little.

Or, you could make one of these simple tools and spread the opening(s) until the control arm fits...

its forty year old steel, it has to be persuaded, pry bars, rubber mallets...remember its says bolt in, its not.....you have to help it along

I haven't made one yet... I think Camaro control arm bolts are 5/8". Get a 5/8" stud or bolt and cut it down to about 1" or so longer than the gap in the frame. Get 2 nuts and 2 washers (5/8) as well. I'd use grade 8 hardware for this tool, and make sure you lightly oil the stud/bolt.

I would use a piece of threaded rod and two nuts to spread it. . . No im just kidding id probably smack it a couple few times with a mallet.

I'd probably use the stud and nut spreader tool. You could use a big rock if you like... To each their own.
