Had some great e-mail exchange with Blake at Speedtech about the way I should approach this build. I was hoping to pick up two shortblocks in PA this weekend but some things came up and it looks like I might have missed out on that opportunity. Aluminum LS1 shortblocks for 300-400 a pop? A good deal?

One small update: I came across a LS2 with some slightly worked 243 heads and a cam for a great price. Sending payment for it tomorrow.

I've been taking my time with acquiring everything needed. Next purchases will be a new roof, dse mini tubs, doors and full quarters. Buying full quarters and a roof because of the rot around the rear glass. I figured it would just be easier for me to do that then buy one of those channel kits to repair it.

Anyone need "quarter skins" for a 67 camaro? I have two brand new ones! Haha

Then will be the suspension bits. Still planning on going speedtech.

So, it's been four years and if anything I've made negative progress. I sold off the motor and trans I had. I've since moved to a new house with larger garage and looking to finally get going.

I'm thinking of just getting full quarters, new roof, and a whole floor. But the question is, in what order do I replace these panels? There is no rear under the car, and I'll be buying either a rotisserie or body cart, and just want to make sure there will be enough rigidity to keep everything To the correct specs while removing and adding panels.

Probably worth the money for this if you have all of that work ahead of you.

Hahaha, us 67 guys evidently all think the same.... there are now 3 threads (at least) named roughly the same thing. Looks like an awesome project (but I'm a little biased)!
