      Ground question for LS engines

Hey guys I need some feedback on where everyone is grounding the engine block etc. when doing an LS conversion. I have a 69 camaro with an LS2 that developed a radiator leak in my aluminum radiator. When I sent it back I was told it's Galvanic corrosion where the car is trying to ground through the radiator and it will not be covered . This car has solid motor mounts but the only ground is coming from the battery to the subframe at the engine mounts. This car has a smooth firewall so I don't want to go to the firewall any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

I think that there is a way to test for a potential problem with a meter. One lead to the radiator, the other lead in the fluid. If I remember right, the scale should be mV. Where is your main negative battery cable connected? It should be the block. You can then run separate smaller (maybe 8 gauge) grounds from the block to the subframe, subframe to body, etc.

I have 2 from frame to motor, and 2 from firewall to frame, and 1 from battery to frame-connected in 2 locations in series, next to battery and then the firewall

BTW- the mV reading should be less than 200 to prevent electrolysis

If you have a smooth firewall you dont want to tarnish, why not run one into the roof of the trans tunnel. Might be a pain to install the first time but once its there would be out of sight.
