      LS engine install book advice

Anyone bought any of the ls engine install books? Looking to see if anyone had any recommendations. I know a book can't tell you everything, but thought it might give some good background knowledge. Thanks.

      LS engine install book advice

I liked the chevy LS conversion handbook. The one with the convertible early silver chevelle and the engine hoist in front of it. Lots of useful information for me on every issue from wiring to exhaust. Lots of information on what works with what. It's the only LS book I own so maybe there are better ones but I liked it.

Unless you're doing a straitforward LS1 swap into a common car, most of the books are not very helpful. Most are also outdated now too. I would suggest researching online here, LS1tech, etc for the combination and car you're looking at.
