      My daily driver.

It is a 1971 Pontiac T-37. My pappaw traded some cows for it off the showroom floor back in 1971 and gave it to me about 2 years ago. It has the original rebuilt 350 but ive added: aluminum intake, cam, dual exhaust, holley 650 double pumper, and roller rockers. Running a TH400 trans behind it. Suspension is Moog coilovers and shocks all around and trans am swaybars with 12 bolt posi in rear. Man this thing will fly!!!

Its hard on gas and insurance but its worth it. Between the looks people give, conversations started at gas stations, and just pure joy of the only teenager driving a muscle car in town it makes up for the gas!! :P

I would but I live in a big college town, and it would be parked on the street so I'm afraid someone (dumb drunk freshman) will mess with it.

I was driving my LeMans around when I was 17 (only 19 now) and people would ask me if my dad knew I had his car Eventually I stopped talking to random people about my car.

Haha i get the "Dad's car" quote alot but most are actually the "I like your Chevelle!" (definatly not a chevelle but i guess i could see someone thinking that) or the "My dad or grandfather had one of those back in the day!" or something along those lines lol

And i definatly understand the worry of other people messing with your car. Mine has been door dinged twice so now i just deside to take up 4 spots and school and work! Lol

Have it all stripped down!!! I have to have the GTO radiator support cut and chopped onto my lemans radiator support to make a good one so it will b some time. But while that is being done i am putting a .501 lift cam in. Also have to have the hood fixed but shouldnt be much. Cant wait to put it all back together!

Im thinking about cutting the drip rails off the top to make the car a little smoother but I don't know this will cause any problems... Anyone know anything about this?

Thinking about final color and rim combos for this and have some options.

      The new look-
      1. Dark grey body paint with HRE C100. Rims 17's in front 18's in back

      The older look-
      2. Verdero green with white top and torque thrust or american wheels.

Im sure ill get lots of opinions. Feel free to comment lol

You want to put $6000 wheels on a $2000 car that is a daily driver? Really?

Also, unless you want to be wet everytime it rains, I would keep the roof drip rail on it.

Sorry my internet messed up and freaked out and put the pic in a different comment box above... but that is what i started with. Its come a long way in a little over 2 years. I know the wheels are a little much, but they are just a goal to press for in the future. Im just trying to build a goal for the future.

And the drip rail idea was just an idea but after some thinking i came to the same conclusion.
