      Finished Trunk

Trunk is done, besides figuring out new gas tank / fuel cell (any thoughts appreciated)!

      Moving on to front floors.

Here is a fun shot, was able to rough out the passengers side tonight.
I am going to take back my 39 1/2" dimension between the inner tubs. Going to adjust it and go slightly wider than the frame with 39 3/4" but who knows I might change that too!
Will still have 3/4" of clearance on all four corners when the tire is bottomed in the wheelhouse. Figured that should be enough to keep it from rubbing while throwing it sideways!

Hey Eric. Man those meats look good!! Sounds like you've done your homework. Good Job! It's been so cold haven't even thought about going into the old garage and firing up the propane heater. But it's warmer now. You're efforts sure give me motivation. And I like the sketch you made in a later post. Nice work!

      Hey Tony!
Frame showed up today, it looks amazing! All the welds are perfect and everything looks strong, tell all the guys I am so happy.
I am sure I will just be unpacking it and staring at it feeling small and weak compared to your fabricators!
      I am not worthy! Haha!

Hey thanks, your GTO is getting there too!
So excited to see the body sitting on it!
Here are a few quick shots of the frame before my battery died, will post more tomorrow.

My buddy Danny is the best for helping me get the frame off the truck and back home even though he was sick with the flu! He is a 69 GTO owner too!

You should have enough wood left over to build an extension on the shop... or have one heck of a bon-fire / beer party.....

Hey Tony the shipping crate was built very well. I would love to use it to make the garage a little bigger but the wife will kill me, so the beer party around the fire pit sounds better!

Hey any suggestions on a low cost set of wheels?
I don't know my backspacing yet but would like to get something to move it around the garage with. Are the wheels on your GTO from a C6 Vette?

So impressed with the quality on this frame, it really is a work of art!

Eric... That is Saaaaweeeeet! I love how the rear sway bar goes through one of the frame rail cross members. Sooooo, now what? Ha ha. Powder coat? Por15? As for rolling around the shop won't your stockies fit for now? Or, is it a completely different bolt pattern? I have the stockies on mine before I can measure the offsets, etc... Then I'll plop on the Willwoods.

Anyway, I gotta get back to sanding, lol

      Mike.

Ok, I'm just a little bit jealous haha. It's a shame you have to cover up all of that awesomeness with the body!

      Hey Mike,
Yeah powder coat maybe a dark silver to show it off, actually it would look cool with just a clear powder coat. I need to weld a few roll bar mount pads to it first (scary) I am sure I will take forever to make sure I don't mess that up. So maybe by the summer it will be ready to bolt on to the car? Haha
It has the same 5 x 4.75 pattern but the studs are the bigger M12 and I don't want to ruin a good set of Pontiac wheels by drilling them out.
I will just look around on Craigslist for deals. Get back to that sanding!

      Hi David,
I had the same reaction when we got it off the truck!
The rear brakes are the Wilwood 13inch Cross Drilled Rotors w/ Large 4 Piston Black Caliper. Thats about as much as I know right now sorry. I will dig around in the boxes to find more info tomorrow.
Otherwise I am sure the guys at the roadster shop would let you know what kit they selected.
Good luck with your project, it is looking great. I hope to catch up to you and get this car together!

Yes Corvette wheels ! I am running Grand sport wheels 18x9.5 front and 19x12 in the rear. Picked up the set for $600.00 new! We have several sets of vette wheels we use to roll projects around.

That chassis is a true work of art !

      Thanks Brian,
Yeah thats what I am going for, 18x9.5 and 19x12's will be online looking for deals like that!
Just learned front and rear studs are not the same for those interested, M12x1.5 Z06 hubs and 1/2-20 on the axles.

David I found the rear brake info.

      Brakes

My Dad and I had fun getting the brakes on for a test fit, everything looks good so far.
I really like the Speedway Floater unit and the Wilwood kit was super nice .
Was going to install the center section but I couldn't find my n.ts, haha.
Tony I need my n.ts back please.

Hey man , Where you at ! Need some updates !

So what was the final number that you moved the tubs in ? I am about to weld my frame up and am sitting at 3in. Might go 3.25 that would make my frame rails an even 40in outside to outside.
