Question for engine experts
I'm looking at the edelbrock 2264 hydro roller for my 540 BBC. Its matched by edelbrock to the intake I'm using (pro-flo XT efi). The cam card states not to use dual springs. Any ideas why this recommendation is made? My heads are currently set up with crane duals that match the lift and pressure specs they recommend. I cannot think of any reason other than valve train harmonics for this.
