      teeder todder

Hello all, The 69 camaro, has a front coil spring going soft, on the passenger side . With 2" drop spindles, the car sits perfect , but in a left coner it teeder todders from driver rear, to passenger front, it will freak you out at speed. I want a 500 lb rate per inch to replace the stock softees but I don't want to sacrifice the stance. The frame, A arms, shocks, bushings and ball joints are in good shape. Jeff at landrum spring is working out the math for me but I thought this would make a good first post. Any advice, besides, changing spindles or cutting springs would help.

I would suggest you look into the Landrum adjusters that sit up in the buckets on top of the springs. They will allow you to adjust the ride height at any time by removing the spring and turning the adjuster. They are on the Landrum website. Carl Casanova has these on his Camaro and explains what he did to install them on his website.
