      Doolittle Raiders Reunion 2012

I'll start with the videos first the following are from Grimes Airfield in Urbana OH. The planes will be flying to the Air Force Museum starting tomorrow morning.

Audio isn't great in this one, we were testing my mom's new camcorder for this one, thinking wind noise reduction killed the audio due to all of the wind

I'll get the pics posted shortly.

Nice! Great planes and good food there too. Wish I could have taken time off for that or at least a long lunch.

I just got back from the base and I even used my gopro and did some walk around footage about 45 secs a piece per plane

Thank you for posting. Had plans on going this year but work got in way. Growing up these guys where my heros. It's sad that kids today have no clue or care to know what these brave me did for this country during some of her darkest hours. God bless the raiders!

I had the privilege of meeting Gen Doolittle back when I worked at Zamperini Field (Torrance Airport) just a few years before he passed. He and Chuck Yeager were there to promote a restaurant just off the airport proper with a B25 and a B26 (if memory serves). Doolittle was confined to a wheelchair by then, he was greatest from a population of greats.

Chuck Yeager was a lot of fun to talk too.
