Car's come a long way, it looks great!

Piece of advice for the shaved door handles...add some extra door poppers as a just in case and program both remotes and always keep the extra with you ;)

Finally an update! After months of waiting, my wilwoods came in today and I didn't wait long to put them on the car. With some help from a couple of my fraternity brothers we were at it until 3 am swapping out the stock single pistons for the new wilwood setup. Install was pretty straight forward, though I didn't realize the wilwood wheel studs are larger than stock so I need to get larger lug nuts.

Car is really coming together! Have you tried loosening all your movable suspension parts while on load. If you bolted all those goodies on while in the air and fully tightened before putting it on the ground then all the new bushings are binding. I have not used your set up so it's only speculation on my part but a common step that is overlooked. Any projected completion date? I would love to meet up for a show sometime.. Mine should be ready around feb

Yeah I left them loose and set the car down before tightening them, I probably have another 800 or so pounds to add to the car though. I'm hoping to have the car running by Feb at the latest but we know how that goes haha. Would definitely like to go to a show on the east coast, we have a place over in hollywood that isn't too from from ya.

Thanks, yeah but since these cars are so popular if you find ANY camaro that is truly original, that is pretty rare these days lol

Yeah! It was nuts... Had to do a double take walking by. They did a great job making it look like it belonged in there. I know there had to be some purists crying over it! Lol

I really need to finish this thing soon so I stop adding on to the list of crap to change lol I came across edelbrock's pro-flow xt intake and thought it was a good alternative to stock or fast intakes everyone is running. Supposedly it flows better then the fast 90 intake, since there aren't many dynos of this thing I figured I'd give it a shot. Only down side is the hight of this sucker, looks like the cowl induction hood will be functional (to some degree) instead of purely cosmetic.

I lucked out and ended up swapping the S&P headers (which I planned to ditch in favor of an all dynatech system anyways) for a brand new xt with edelbrock pro-flo fuel rails included in the deal (stock fuel rail won't work with this setup). The guy shipped them out today, pretty stoked to see how it fits.

So if anyone wants to buy a stock ls2 intake with fuel rails (and possibly injectors as well) let me know!

Thanks, depends on where. I know this time of year in SWFL there are small shows every-other weekend, I don't really know about Tampa to be honest.

      Quick little update:

Took off the stock intake and fuel rails last night and they are on their way to their new owner. Now the search is on for a good bulkhead electrical connector(s) until the new intake set up arrives Friday!

Over the Christmas weekend I had a chance to throw on the Edelbrock intake, for some reason I'm having trouble installing the injectors on the Edelbrock fuel rail

I haven't had a chance to put the new hood on yet with the intake (69 cowl induction hood) but I will be either today or tomorrow. I took measurements and it looks like its going to be really close, within millimeters.

      UPDATE:

I ended up getting the injectors in (pain in the ass!) and had to modify the brackets for the fuel rails as the injectors were too tall to use the brackets but too short to use them as intended. Also installed the rest of the fuel line fittings for the fuel rail and started on the power steering lines, just waiting on a bracket to mount the power steering reservoir to the firewall. The brake lines came in the other day as well. Turns out the bracket for the brake booster/MC assembly to the firewall wasn't the correct one that came with the master cylinder kit so I had to order an angled one to clear the master from the inner fender. Hopefully by next week I'll have working brakes and steering then its time to finish the electrical and she's ready for paint!!!!!!!!!! (pics to be uploaded soon)

For the first time in over 2 years the car is finally off the lift! Also re-installed trunk-lid and installed the rear spoiler.
