      Solid PT 4DR

It's finally running, getting the bugs out and (slowly) tweaking it to peak performance:

      In this car:

Ideas welcome for paint or anything else.

Your car is totally awesome...I'd love to know what some of the performance numbers are on it!

In the area, huh? Hmmm...... I may wanna check that car out in person. There is NOTHING like a sleeper. I originally wanted to do something like that to my 4 door Buick. We gotta hook up. Oh, and remind me not to laugh when I see you on the freeway.....

      Lol Good eyes

A sleeper for sure! What are your plans for paint? I hope something that will stay with the sleeper theme :icon996:

Man, what a sleeper that is! I'm thinking a light steel blue color would work well with your blue interior and still keep with the sleeper theme. Nice work!

Wow! What a great car. Why cry about GM not offering an affordable RWD sedan, when you can build one yourself? Great work.

Color? Grandma color is my first, "knee-jerk" reaction, but the car is too cool for that. Nissan (and Infiniti) has a dark pewter (kinda bronzish) that changes nicely with varying light. Your wheels made me think of that color. Would update your body style nicely while still maintaining a stealthy appearance. Look for Nissan Muranos and some Infinitis. The color may be from a 2003 or 2004 pallette. I'm not quite sure how to describe the color--which is one of the things that I like about it.

Sleeper is an understatement. That is one cool ride just loaded with goodies and hours and hours of labor. It is just so hard to look at that car and picture the sound of the waste gate. You should make some videos of that car.
If you guys havent seen his site you, should go and check it out. "Spaghetti! To pure stealth... " Those are great pics too.

i say give it a $200 earl scheib paint job in a solid color like white or grandma beige. don't sand and buff it either just leave it as is. that would complete the look.

Thanks for all the feedback and ideas. I've enjoyed watching the projects, cars and events on this site for a couple years. Great stuff!

Right now for paint I'm leaning towards my friend's idea - a darker gray with some subtle pearl in it. But paint is a ways down the road.

Just today took my first real highway test on 280 for about 20 miles total. It's running well but not great yet - I have some fuel, spark and knock sensor tuning to do before trying any wide open or higher boost stuff.
