      GMR - MISC Stuff...

This is a thread for some of the MISC stuff we have in the works.

Below is a GMR - Custom built C6 rear bulkhead assembly with GMR Shocks, Hubs, bulkhead, and GMR9 Housing. This is for a custom application but will be adapted for the pro-touring market.

Awesome. Can't wait to see it. Will be in need of a rear suspension next year.

DAMN you and all the cool new stuff you keep designing!!!

Looks awesome, can't wait to see the real thing. I'm interested to see how you make your front hubs into a 35 spline drive hub! That's going to be COOL.

I have wanted an IRS in my 69 since I started it, but there was never a good option and now I am getting too far along with my second solid axle to change.

Very nice! How will it compare in price / features with the Heidts IRS?

Yes, we are going to be making these is a "univerasl" setup for different WMS measurements. One for a early Nova, then larger on for Gen1 etc...

The bulkheads and components will not be on the "shelf" per say, but more along the lines of "built to order". If there is enough interest then Yes we will keep them on the shelf.

The GMR rear clip will be quite a bit different. Not sure If it can even be compared to our setup.

The components are rated at 1400 HP and are currently being ran in some drag cars with a spool.

Super cool indeed i love it. , have you considerd it to make it with a push rod system.... where the coil over system will be placed in the middel above and nekst to the housing clock. altho a little more weight would be added to the system it would have less unsprong weight!??.

The cantilever setup is more then possible, I can and have built just about anything a client can think of. Keep in mind we are also a full custom fabrication facility.

This setup is rated at 1400 HP with a spool, the only rear limit is the wavetrack or other locker assembly. All the components from the center gear set on out are rated for 1400 and haven been used and currently run in some serious levels of drag racing.

I have been asked for some rough pricing of the complete setup. This is only an estimate, the actual investment may be different.

      Estimated 19K Complete

      Includes the following :

-GMR Race Series C6 rear hubs
      -GMR PT-R shocks with springs
      -GMR9 housing
-Wavetrack third member ALUM case, same as shown above
-All 300M drive components and RACE series CV units
-Wilwood 14" GT (GMR coated) rotors with W4A calipers and radial mounts
-GMR custom sway bar assembly and components
-all 2012 C6 lowers, uppers, and uprights
-C6 / GMR Tie Rod adjusters (upgraded to heim units)
-GMR custom fabricated center section with pinion adjustment
-GMR custom CNC ALUM skid plate

Were well underway with this first unit in a tube chassis custom build, I will have some more pics shortly.

      thanks
      Jason
