      Thanks Pro-Touring (Wilwood)

Been reading a while, first post. After reading here I decided on Wilwood brakes from Laramie @ Precision Brakes. Great service and super price.

Car isn't quite pro-touring, not sure what you'd call it???

1966 Impala convertible. 468 (soon to be twin 62-1 turbos) 4L80E, Hotchkis Suspension, Wilwood 4-wheel discs(on the way).

Thanks for the great info.... Thanks Guys!

      OK... Restomod sounds good.

No matter what you call it the brakes will kick ass, for a big car.

      Bob,

I agree with the super price part, but use caution. We have been trying to get a refund on a brake kit order that was placed in November of 2004. We never received the brakes and have been trying to get a refund for the last several months. They have told us numerous times that the refund check is in the mail.

      Precision Brakes Company

Yup, I will second that word of caution that Fred mentioned. While Precision Brakes Company may have had a good product a few years ago when Andrew purchased his brakes it doesn't seem to be the same today. BE CAREFUL!!!!! I speak from experience. I only wish that I would have received the same brake kit that Andrew did.
