Where the heck did "dubs" come from anyway? Not sure if that means somthing, or is short for somthing, or what??

Dubs, doubles. It's short for 20's.

You can 22's on your car and if you drive the darn thing it is not a poser..

Besides.. you say "poser" like it is a bad thing.. Cindy Crawford poses and I see nothing wrong with her..

Dubs actually means 22s, you know, double 2s! but most rednecks around here call anything bigger then 18s DUBS!

I wanted to, we asked earlier in the day for some VHT as I do not think the track was expecting cars like mine and Raymonds to show up, but they shot us down. By the time you showed up and used your pull to get them to agree to spray, my bottle was empty after 5 or 6 runs on the hit. Also, Raymond was already wounded by then, so it would have been more solo shots.
I was curious what it would do if the track worked at that altitude, as our local track is only 60' above, and that one is 1100'. Best I could figure it was about 4000' DA that day. But the track would not even hold but 40% of a 200 shot on the progressive, so I damn sure wasn't going to put the 300 to it.
I had fun though, I loved the little outlaw track.
Good meeting you, see you at the Turkey Rod Run.

the word "dubs" is a derivative from the word dub which means "twenty" it originally came from people calling 20 dollar bags of marijuana a "dub sack" so then people starting calling everything that was twenty dub, like a twenty dollar bill, then 20 inch rims came out and people called htem "dubs" and so forth. Next week we will get a lesson on the words "doin it"

Huh, I always though rednecks and ricers were about the same mentality level, but I guess now I have to rethink things. The ricers around here do actually have one up on your local rednecks in that they call 18's "dubs -2", or "Dubs under deuce". Who-da thunk it?

Anyway, sorry to bring up the whole poser/dubs deal. To many show only cars with the huge meats ruins the whole thing for me, hence the poser. Just like to many rednecks with second or third gen F-bodies ruins it for everyone but Mullet Boy, even though my cut is kept pretty tight.

Yody, mad props yo! Way to E-thug it up and set dat cracka straight. Oh gawd, what have I done now...
