Is it just me, or do those old Chevys look a little tougher without their trim?

55 is the best looking year imo for an aggressive look!

Very hot. The AME chassis makes me want a tri-five even more.

Bigger wheels as in "wider" or as in "larger diameter"? Wider, I can agree with to help put that new chassis to work. Any larger diameter and he may as well park that awsome ride with the posers. I hope dubs go out of style soon... Can't stand the look.

My car has 19s and 20s coming for it so I am a poser too.
It may be a poser, but it will never see a trailer. Should do decent at the strip and have cold air blowing in my face. We all have different objectives when we build our cars. Mine was to ride!

      I love those 55s.

Oh yeah, we will really be posing with that one!

Craig, they are 245/45/17s up front and 275/40/18s on the rear. We will forward pics when she is done. Also, there will be a series of pics on the web site tonight under Sams 55

17's and 18's I can handle, on some vehicles. It's when people throw 20's or larger on a ride that it starts looking less like a hotrod/street machine/Pro-touring/G-Machine/whatever and starts looking like a pimp mobile with Matel HotWheels proportions. You guys are entitled to your opinion, just as I am to mine. I call it poser, but if you like it, that's all that matters. Heck, people liked custom vans in the 70's, just like people liked ricers in the '90's, and how people like dubs now. I just hope nobody combines them all to make a custom low rider riced out van with dubs... Wait a minute, I've already seen that too... Oh well, off to my hideout until this dubs thing blows over...
