Bumper prep

I sanded my bumpers all the way down these are 1980 trans am rubber bumper(i think) I also bought some abs spats and lower spoilers..... Should these get epoxy primer like the rest of the body.... I was told to add some flex additive but I am not sure about that.... How would you guys prep these bumpers.......
