      98 LS1 wiring harness help needed please

      I found a great link to the 98 LS! wiring harness connectors and was wanting more information on what needs to be removed besides vats,air pump,egr due to LS6 intake,traction control,Air injection reaction solenoid relay output-coil,Vehicle anti-theft system starter enable relay output--coil,Theft deterrent-fuel enable feed,and maybe a/c due to having vintage air set up for my chevelle. So did I miss anything or anything above need to stay? Really need help guys due to budget here. Also wondering what you have used to remove terminal pins don't wanna cut wires out if possible. Any help I can get would be very helpful and greatful!!!! Brandon

      It's easier to go around the harness and determine what you want to keep.
      Here's a pretty good resource for wiring. I've done a couple based on this.
      Off hand you could remove rear O2, oil pressure, oil level, coolant level, PS pump plug, trans functions.
      If you take off the cover to the ecu connector, you can wiggle and pull the connectors out.

      curious why you say to remove oil pressure, PS pump plug, trans functions? I wanna be able to read oil pressure,using factory power steering from LS engine and running a 4L60E. Just curious Brandon

      On my 68 vette, I'm using a mechanical oil pressure gauge, on my 72 442 electric. So I dont run it through the computer.
      I'm not sure what the PS plug tells the ecu.
      Leave the trans/vss if you're using thr 4L60 that came with the motor.

      Good info Gary I am using Autometer gauges so guess I will need different sending unit for that over factory. I will do some research on P/S plug and find out about that.
