      73 Vette LS1/t56

So I bought this Vette in January with a 350 and a th400. It was fun for a couple months but quickly got tired of the lack of performance and unreliability. I got a chance to purchase a LS1/T56 for a good price and hopped on it. This is what it looked like the day I brought it home.

      Pulled the old motor.

      The LS1/T56

      In with the new.

The exhaust I plan to use.

The Ls1 Running. With open headers and VATS bypass.

Very nice. My '72 is going to get a similar fate once my trans am is done.

Are you talkin about the ls1 or the flares? Either one is a fun project and well worth the work.

Very cool. I like 73 Vettes, they have the great rear end and the front has a nice smooth look to it. Very unique. The wheels look awesome and it looks like the flares are barely going to cover with them. I looked at some c3's and I was bummed that you can't fit much tire under them. Keep us posted.

Wow, this looks amazing! I love the look of this 'vette with the black, tint, and cowl. I dunno why those stand out the most to me, but they do. :D

The flares look awesome as well, can't wait to see them painted!

      Beautiful 73!
I just started my build thread on my LS3 72. How'd you hook the sidepipes up to the LS? I have the Hooker pipes for SBC's, but the headers don't even come close to mating up with the LS.

Can't wait to see your's finished.

Curious to see how you plan to use the Escalade head lights. Are you going to put them in the lower grilles? Won't they be too close to the ground?
