Quick update....been driving it, been smoothing 1/4 panels, and finally got some flares on.....pic is in grayscale to take away from the distraction of primer and paint on the car. Still a bunch more fitting, and trimming of the flares but its nice to not see so much tire!
I just made a deal on this tonight....
450hp /415ftlbs Toyota 2UZ out of a desert race truck. This one is fresh, the class it was in was a spec class, so it has a low compression ratio, and they had a rev limit of 6000rpm. The motor builder said there is lots more power if you could spin it to 7000.
These motors were $20,000 each when new.....I got 2.5 of them for a song....
I will change it back to EFI and run a Haltech on it. Should be fun!!!
