      LT1 starting problems

Starts straight away but if I switch off then try to start will struggle to start, then starts but a smell of gas and blue smoke and sputtering, scanner says MAP sensor, could it be ?.I'm stuck on the lawn and it's a pain to push it back in garage.

i dont know if this will help at all as my LT1 doesnt shoot blue smoke or smell of gas, but it does hate to be restarted right away.

Mine always hates to be started after its heated up. After i give it a few minute break its usually ok

sounds like either leaky injector or regulator. one other possibility is a bad intake or exhaust guide. I had a set of heads with 5 very bad wallowed out guides, it ran ok but sounded like bad lifter or exhaust leak.
