      The plastic seat will weigh a few pounds less than a fiberglass seat. The plastic seat we have weighs about 14-15 lbs and the Sparco Pro2000 I have weighs 19lbs...with a minimumal amount of padding, even this seat gets uncomfortable after around 80-90 minutes of driving. Stiff suspension and a hard plastic seat means you're going to get a lot of shock transferred to your body. It's fine on a track where the surface is smooth and you're only driving for short durations, but on the highway with broken pavement, it will get frustrating.

      Believe me, I like to be as hardcore as anybody...but I dunno if you will be happy with it.
