      Engine/trans offset?

I've run into a situation on my build that may necessitate moving the engine/trans 2" to the passenger side. I know that I've seen this done before, but in cars that were engineered from the factory to have this offset. Since I'm building mine from scratch, is there any problems that may arise in doing this that I haven't come across as of yet. I still have enough room for the exhaust, passenger footroom is a bit tight, and the rear end (not yet built) will accomodate for this. So far, all is cool, but am I missing anything that will cause grief or burning through cash later on? Maybe weight distribution issues?
