      200-4r help

      ok tuned my carb today from scratch cause it was running really rich and since doing so took car out and it wont shift into OD...itll hit all gears fine but not od ..it has a lock up TQ that still works when flipped ..did i screw it up adjusting carb?..possible my linkage is messed up?..

      I know only enough about these transmissions to be dangerous, but it may be that the throttle valve (TV) cable is out of adjustment after working on your carb. Careful because driving the car with the TV cable misadjusted can cause transmission damage. The TV controls line pressures, shift points, part throttle downshifts and detent downshifts. The TV cable connects to the carb throttle linkage/bracket on the carb. You might check out bowtie overdrives, tci, and others on-line for info on correct adjustment. Hope this helps!

      Thanks..whats weird is i never messed with the cables just mixture screws..ill check the cables and see if its pulling all the way at WOT
