What is that a telephone pole, at least I was going to use a really big Oak Tree. I would think that it would pull the whole car though, how would you stop the tires from sliding?

I cant say we have never done that at the body shop.

We pushed a front bumper on a dodge bumper off the pole at work.

Dig holes and/or let the air out of the tires.

Not saying it's a good idea, though.

I tried hooking a honda to my suburban one time to do the same thing because we kept dragging the car when trying to use the come along to a pole idea.... and after giving it a little tug...... Flipped that sucker on its side and it rolled onto its roof when the strap's elasticity sprang back...Ended up junking the car but it was entertaining ...Good thing it was already kinda a beater ... Best part was we were doing it on my lunch our in the parking lot of a shop i worked at.. But i had to get back to work so pushed it on its roof with the front bumper of the suburban into the corner of the parking lot and left it till after work...Stirred up alot of customer's questions... Man it was funny was along time ago so no pics but i am laughing my but off right now... My boss was so pissed i almost got fired over it till he realized how funny it actually was....AHHH the stupid things i have done as a kid !!!!!!!!!
YAY!!!!!! i found my first car now time to cut the crap outta it!!!! But this time with more than a pair of tin snips like when i was 16........... Just love the stuff..........

I did the whole hook a chain to a tractor an pull away thing to straighten out an S-10 bumper/frame after a deer snarled it up.

      Crude, but it works.
