What ever you choose for gaps can sometimes be overridden by the panels ability. Make sure you use 2 layers of tape to prtect the edges from chipping and be careful and slow opening things. Slao heed the warning of any kind of popping loose of a bolt that will allow movement. I had a bolt move slightly that I heard and didn't heed the warning and it was after the tape had come off. The fender moved and I opened the door and Chip showed up and I'm not talking Foose.

      Be patient.

very true. Gotta watch them fender to door gaps. I'd get that close then that would be your common gap.

It would look funny if everything was 3/16" but than the door to fender gap was set at 1/4".
