No need for a group purchase from us. Our prices are much better than a group purchase price. We guarantee our prices to meet or beat any price out there.
Check our web site for pricing on all the wheel lines we carry.

Wheel Group Purchases are nearly impossible to organize and fulfill. The reason is that there are too many brands, and finding X number of people that want the same brand and series is difficult. Instead, all of us vendors just offer excellent pricing every day. I carry about 20 brands, see my signature below.

If you want an additional 10-15% off the pricing, feel free to do the buy-ins and become a dealer yourself. That is what it comes down to. Wheels are not marked up nearly as much as people assume.

I was just wondering cause I finally have the cash to pull this off and I see these going all the time. Didnt intend to sound like a cheat skate. I figured being the winter time lots of guys would want to get a GP going to get ready for spring/summer.

I think it's a perfectly valid question. Heck, group buys are sometimes started like this!

Group Buys are great. 4 years ago I developed a complete website devoted to starting group buys. GPSuperStore.com, and we pull off many of the wanted GPs in that forum.

Problem with the wheel buisness is there are so many other dealers starving right now they are giving wheels away to get the sale, so your already getting Group Buy (or better) pricing. I matched a written deal yesterday for a really good customer that only had $110 gross profit before $60 credit card fees! Normally I would have passed on that deal and let the other dealer continue to put himself out of business, but I sold this guy $17k of other stuff for his car, so I did the deal as a favor as he was not comfortable buying from the other quote.

Some of these wheels lines only have a 15% dealer margin. if we give 10% off then absorb the 3% credit card fees, and we are quickly working for $40 for a set of $2000 wheels.

Sometimes we can lean on the wheel manufacturer to get a additional discount if we promise to sell X amount. But that is hard to do when they are running lean on margin already. And then if the GP falls short, we either have to order wheels on spec or loose the additional discount.

We have the horsepower to sometimes do a reverse group buy and make a purchase of 10 sets of wheel rights, and then fill the order in reverse for those wheels. When we do this I can usually get 5% more off? These often usually require payment up front from us to gain the discount. I can do that with a lot of my products. But it takes a lot of balls to step up and place a $35K order for wheels hoping they will sell in a reasonable amount of time.

Now I ALWAYS seem to have a deal on something I ordered wrong, ordered on speculation, someone cancelled, etc. I have a few sets of these wheels now.

So what are you looking for? I have a few sets of Forgelines, centers done, sitting on the shelf, waiting to be assembled in your size. There are a couple sets of Boze centers sitting.

      Talk to me. Call me.

In the meantime, do a wanted GP over at GPSuperStore.com and see if you can get some action going.

Everbody has to eat, we can continue to grind these guys down until they make no money and are no longer around. I'm all for saving a buck but not at the expense of the little man.

we do not have any active group buys, but we are offering 20% off Bonspeed, 10% off New Gen, and I will match any Rushforth deal out there and add the convenience of tire packages with our in house mount and balance providing you with a turn key solution.

I agree with Todd on this issue, there is only so much you can expect to save on an item. We can all shop everything to the nth degree and buy from vendors that are selling stuff from their garages or basement or whereever, but when those guys drive the reputable vendors out of business where we will be? Spend a few bucks with a good vendor like like Frank and he will save you money in the long run.

      Good explanation Frank!

Keep in mind that most of us sell wheels at 10-15% off of retail anyways. Depends on the brand, some are very strict about minimum pricing. So, that typically leaves us with a 10-15% margin, if that. Damn credit card fees and such kill quite a bit on a multi-thousand dollar purchase. So, asking for another 10% off is asking dealers to work/sell for free.

Only time any wheel sales usually happen is when a manufacturer drives the sale. They give us additional discounts to pass on to the customer.

Larry, I sell stuff from my garage. I paid $100,000 cash to build a new 2,400 sq-ft shop in my back yard, equipped with lifts and tire mount/balance machines. I also have a legit LLC, along with federal and state tax permits. I hope that is okay with you that I prefer not to pay rent somewhere. :
