      Pitman arm

I asked this question on another board but do not have a postive yes or no respose back yet. I started buying everything to do the steering upgrade kit on my 1968 400 Firebird. New cardone 276550 steering box, motormite 31011 coupler and the inserts from Lee for the power steering lines. I need to replace the curved wore out pitman arm on my car. I can get a moog K6582 pitman arm for cost through my second job but I cannot get the pontiac version. This pitman arm is for the Camaro and is the straight style. I was told that I could run the straight arm if I was running long branch manifolds. But they were not postive. Any ideas.

      NDPlink.com has it as well.

Thanks, I know you can buy it aftermarket but funds are real tight right now. I can buy the camaro arm for cost. That would save me at least $50.00 plus the shipping. I found a few threads on other boards stating that if you run a rear dump manifold or the LBM's on the drivers side you can use the straight arm.
