Good call about overnight camping (or lack thereof ...) at Buttonwillow the night before and thanks for checking into this. Our Thursday early evening feast-a-thon will continue without a hitch as we'll move it to the hotel parking lot or somewhere else off of Hwy 58/5 junction.

So far, I've got Carl and Mike for baked beans and pie. I'll bring the ribs. The motorhome has utensils and pans, plus a microwave for heating anything in. We'll also bring another portable BBQ to keep the ribs warmed.

We still need salad fixin's and dressings, several packages of those Cheddarwurst links, and garlic bread. Perhaps another dessert as we've got a lot of sweet teeth here. Any leftovers can be reheated and hoovered down for Friday's lunch. I'll also bring some sandwich materials (bread, mayo, mustard, lettuce, tomato, and lunchmeats) for Friday lunch.

If the NCRC does have the track made available for Thursday arrival, then we'll go back to there ...

I'll need a head count by next Wednesday so I can plan for the ribs.

      Cheers,
      Mary Pozzi
I will bring the links and the garlic bread! ... and a dessert of my choosing!

Where are people staying? Is there a way to secure the car at the track or maybe we should all hire a baney fife to guard the cars while we sleep.
