The seats are really comfortable. Seem to hold you in pretty tight while making vroom vroom noises.

Looking great Rob. When are you going to fire that puppy up. BTW, did you get the parking brake and fuse block issue sorted out? I also found out that the parking brake assembly interferes with my 4-way electronic flasher unit, so I had to mount the flasher away from the fuse block.

Tu, no I have not had a chance to look at it again. I will try to move the fuse block over a little. I don't think there is much wiggle room but I will give it a try.

Thanks, that must have been a lot of reading. I can't wait to see it completed either.

Not much. I did get the doors back on and the trunk lid mounted to just get it out of the way. I had some more parts powdercoated by a good friend. I will try to post some pics of them real soon.

Not a lot of updates lately to post. But, I did find a set of the New Vintage gauges that I wanted. They are the 3-1 69 model gauges. I'm pretty excited to get them wired in.

I'm glad that I didn't spend the time and energy to buy and install a speedo cable.

Not in yet. LOL The boat is still in the driveway and that takes priority over everything. Just ask my family. It doesn't help any that it takes up the whole driveway either. Still waiting on pics of your shop.

Hey Rob...good news, been too busy to take any pics(seriously)....I've had some help for the past few days. I hired a welder from work to help me in the evenings and we work til it's too dark to see, and we've finished building all 34 of the concrete forms lastnight(gotta put plywood on the last two got too dark to see)...going to finish bending rebar cages tonight...and depending on when the rain is supposed to hit our area....I may even get the forms set at elevation before too long. I have to get my permit renewed, so that means another day off from work to go to the county seat to pay them some more money and then get the inspector over to OK the forms before pouring.

Small updates. I did a quick mock-up uf the gauges in the stock bezel. The bezel needs to be cleaned and painted yet.

My new goal for the car is to try and get something done each day. No matter how small it might be. Feel free to pester me if you do not see it happening. Thursday 6-23-2011 I ordered trunk spatter paint and the clear top coat. Friday 6-24-2011 I installed the trunk drain plugs and seam sealed them along with the trunk drop offs. Saturday morning I made more brackets to help hold the gauges better in the stock bezel. Sunday I did not do anything. But, after being out on the lake for the whole weekend I picked up the mail and my new soderless connections for wiring up my gauges were in the mail. I'll count that as my project for Sunday. LOL

6-27 Started the clean up of the trunk area. Taped everything off, light scuff and on to spatter paint. Here are a couple of before pictures.

After pictures. I still need to lay down the satin clear topcoat.
