I, too, love the color. I once had a 69 Camaro about that color.

      Seats

Those are the Glide engineering SS-2 seats http://www.glideengineering.com/univ...20bolster.html

A local trim shop wraped them up and I'm very happy with the outcome. They come with the foam, the only thing we had to do was bend out the bars to widen the bolsters in both the shoulders and legs. I have a 36-38 waist and broad sholders, now it fits well.

      Exhaust hole

Ok this was tricky. I'll have to take off a wheel to show you but there is a flexible braided section by the leaf spring that allows for movement. Then two mounting tabs fixed to the pipe and car. Another flex point on the other side of the hump connected with a band clamp. All that to accomplish zero movement of the end pipe. It is fixed in place.

I am not a fabricator and did not do this so that's all I know. Pictures will tell all I'm sure. I'll work on getting those.

Taking for it's first drive tomorrow with that exhaust, need to find a barrier to drive next too!! no tunnells in North houston

You and me both! It moved to another garage at the paint house but I was not there to get the full effect. I have not seen it in sunlight. Tomorrow though I'm rolling her out and we're getting reaquinted. It's been since Feb. Hopefully there is full sun. I'll snap some pics then.
Still need to intall the side mirrors and anvil carbon lower spoiler too.

A intake bypass valve is a diaphragm that open up if your intake gets submerged or completely soaked, allowing air to enter further up the intake track. Not saying they are a necessity, but here are a couple hydrolock horror stories. Dont even know if it would work with an engine of your size. But your intakes are definitely out in the open. Gorgeous car though .

Detroit speed. It is a very nice piece. We had it powder coated to prevent scratches and easy clean up. It sat a little high and was rubbing the hood. Not sure if it was the after market hood or what but this was after all paint so I watched as my painters took a block of wood and mallet and "fixed" the high spot in the core support. Scary to watch but it worked and now no rub and no one sees the core suport anyway so presto.

Thanks everyone for the compliments on the car. You never no how something will be seen by others. I think it looks tough and love it but it's nice to hear from my peers.

Still no opportunity to roll it out into the sun today and take more pictures. One day I'll set up a more logical order to the pictures when it's all done. Hoping that is in time for Good Guys in Ft. Worth Oct 3.

Thanks again guys - It's miller time in Houston. I'm out.

      Interior parts wrapped

Below are a couple of pics of interior parts coming along! It's exciting to see them wrapped. The car should go in late this week for carpet, headliner and installation of the panels etc.

Dash is matte black. I think the red accents really compliment the color.

Black carpet goes on bottom like original but tighter weave

Any chance you can take a picture of it with the wheel off to show all of us?
