From Start To Finish: Chassis Build Question

In order to have a fully complete frame from start to finish, what all items need to be completed and mounted before I powdercoat my entire frame/suspension components/etc so I will not need any more grinding/adjusting/welding to it after its complete?

I want to have everything fitted including engine/transmission/hard lines for my air/fuel/ tubing ran for electrical/etc before all finish stages so that will help also.... but want to make sure I am not gonna run into any issues after?

      ALL INPUT APPRECIATED! Thanks!

I'd make sure you put everything together with the body in place... things look accessible when it's just a frame on stands, and can be in the way of something or hard to get a wrench on with the body in place. You basically have to build the car. Don't forget the e-brake lines and any exhaust hangers that attach to the frame.

Depends on how many modifications you are planning too.

If you are doing a resto, probably won't have to modify much, if anything, but if you are changing from a 6 cyl with a column mounted shifter to an LS7 and everything else from stock to aftermarket, plan on numerous "changes" that will be needed.

Might be a great "idear" to post a list of planned mods, for better guidance.
