They are actually a little different. The LS3 has an extra piece of plastic that is molded to the top of the manifold with a layer of thin foam under it. Its to reduce engine noise.

Isn't the L76 discontinued? Or was that just the package deal w the injectors and TB?

package deal discontinued. New part number for the complete package has been released, but the part is still unavailable. Right now you are limited to factory takeoffs or building your own piece by piece. You can also go the four barrell style route. MAST makes a cool drive by wire throttle body conversion plate to use a DBW throttle body on the four barrell intake.

I didn't say you needed to buy it from the catalog (i.e. new). And as explained the LS3 intake and the L76 intake are the same (aside from minor cosmetical changes).

Right, but LS3 manifolds are not exactly plentiful on the market as the aftermarket L92/LS3 manifolds keep getting delayed (L76s seem even less common).

When the FAST or Weiand manifolds finally come out, the flood gates should open on used LS3 intakes.

Single plane intakes really kill the low end torque on LSx engines.

Does anyone know if the DBW LS2 Throttle Body from an 05 GTO will plug and play with the Mast wiring and gas pedal?

      Thanks,

      Clay

They have multiple harness for different setups, so yes it will plug and play as long as you get the right harness.
