      Yummy Engine

      lol

Alright I picked this motor up a few years ago for my 89 Z24 convertible to replace the old 2.8 V6. This is a 3400 out of I think it was a 99 Chevy Venture Minivan.

I was told the oil pump had died on it so the owner wanted a new engine and I got this for $100.

      When I got it

I took the intake manifolds off and valve covers off back then and then the motor just sat in my brothers garage, and then I brought it to my parents a year or so ago still didnt get any work done to it and now I'm going to take it over to my house where I'll have room to take it all apart and redo it.

Looks like someone could have been more regular with their oil change regimen...

if anything I can swap the whole top end over to my 2.8 and make a hybrid since the 2.8 and 3400 are the same block

I believe the 3.4 has better heads. I would clean them up and use them.

I plan to either on the 3400 itself or my 2.8
