      67 Camaro Project Dirt Dobber....

Ha, well this is my project affectionately named because it has been setting since may 1998. It was sunk 4 inches into the mud and had dirt dobber nests all in it. Sunday it'll be loaded on the trailer to head down to orlando with me.

Well after setting since 98 the car was moved from it's once thought "resting place". Just hit it with the pressure washer today and took some wonderful interior shots.

Dunno where I'm gonna go with the paint yet... I'm thinking a two tone look. Not many camaros with that but almost every other one has a stripe or two.. lol. Yeah the interior is HIDEOUS. That will be going away quickly

It'll be an LSx with a T56. Just don't know what route I wanna go with yet. Moving has taken a chunk of some money. I can't believe a moving truck rental place won't let me rent one for less than a week. That's madness. Oh well. We'll see how it goes and I'll talk with frank and we'll see where I wanna go with it.

Yeah.. I was NOT a fan of the interior at all.. Got a neat update though. The engine kinda fired today. It sputtered for a second and then died. But for setting for 12 years I'm pretty suprised. When I parked it, it barely ran.

Funny story about buying it. I never got allowance or anything growing up. My parents said I would do my chores because I loved them. But I did get $2 for lunch every day. I went through a year of not eating lunch and originally wanted to buy a playstation. BUT, dad said he had a friend that wanted to sell the car and it would be something I'd work on for my first car. Guy ran it into a guard rail. Parked it and never touched it. I always swore I'd start working on it but at 15 I got a job as a detailer at a local dealership and bought a truck, so the camaro kept getting put off..
