      Rushforth Wheels! Please Vote

Hey Guys, Here's my 69 SS. Iv'e been going back and forth on wheels for days now. I stopped my wheel cut because I changed my mind again. Thanks for being patient Jason! I have decided for shure on the "FUEL" design. I also am going for it with a 18x8 up front and 19x10 in back. Here is a Photoshopped version of them in smoked titanium centers and polished hoops. I'll post a nersion of them fully polished as soon as my friend can get to it. Tell me if you like them. Thanks Guy's

Like the design of the wheel, but the tires need more sidewall. Too rubber bandy for my taste.

17s or 18s imho, 18s fill up the wheel well better but I like the sidewalls better on a 17.

Rushforths thou with the titanium centers, can't go wrong there

      ThaT LookS PerfecT!

I love blade style sidewalls! Unless you are worried about 1,2,3 or 4 seconds on an auto-x tracK, I would go with the stylE of a bigger wheel.

As long as they are tuckeD and not DonkeD; BiG wheelS look the best. Performance comes from horsepower, suspension and brakes first. TireS and wheelS are more for fine tuning a RacE machinE. JMO

Wheels will look great but I would go 18's all around. Unless things have changed 19's really cut down your tire options. 17 and 18's staggered can look goofy if you dont nail the tire sizes.

The wheel style and finish look great. Just make sure you really want the 18s and 19s instead of 18s all the way around.

Ok, for fear of throwing out my opinion again on wheels, but you asked LOL

Bit too tall for the ride height you are at. Love the wheels. A lil more tire with a smaller rim OD would look good. And I know its a PS graft so it may look diff in the real. But whats the OD of the tire you are looking at for the 18s and 19s? Keep that, but with a 17 and 18 combo maybe.

I have a feeling the PS pic makes them look more out of place than they would look in the real. Like I can see the rears are canted out at the bottom, in at the top, like there is some camber going on there. That would not be the case on your car, it makes it look like they are bigger than they are. And lemme say, nice PS work, pretty damm close, the original pic was prolly shot higher? So the wheel face is a lil off from the body. Good job. How did you mask it out???? Ok, off topic LOL I love the wheels on the car though.. JR

      Great input!

Thanks for your opinions. I'm still in the decision process. You right. The wheels would be a bit smaller. The ones photshopped were from a Nova on Lateral -G.net. 19's and 20's. My car still need's to be lowered all the way around. Iv'e been on the fence about going with 19's out back. Honestly, I think the just look cool. They may not be the right decision for ridability? I'm still waiting for my buddy to send a pic with them 100% polished also. They remind me of HotWheels from when I was a kid. Jason somehow came up with a new/old school look in a five spoke. Great Job Jason! Has anyone had 19's and wished they had'nt? Thanks for your thoughts

I think that it will look good in real life with a change in altitude.

      Hey Will,
I suggest going with your gut,19's will ride almost as smoothly as 18's if that's what you're concerned about. If that's the look you want,do it.
Here's a side profile of my car w/18's all-around,right finish but wrong spokes...if someone can photoshop them onto your car it might give you a better idea of what they look like and would help make your decision easier...

And I do agree the smoked titanium finish would look killer against you paint color,I wouldn't even consider full polished.

Definitely the right finish. In a non mini tub application...probably go 18's unless you can find a 27 inch tire in a 19.

Those wheels look great with that car. I would also do 18s all around and make sure there is enough sidewall meat in there.

I think they look great and you will be more than satisfied with your choice. I am partial though, because those wheels look familiar to the ones on our Nova.
