Yes, I am guilty those wheels were stolen off your Nova. LOOKS GREAT!! Sorry! I could'nt help it. I stopped my order from being cut after you posted those pictures on Lateral-G. I can't wait to get em. The only thing left to find out about is "Dropped Spindles". I don't know how they might change my offset for backspacing? So My order is still on hold. What brand is good? I haven't found out much info yet. I looked in the Suspension Forum. But No Luck Yet. I guess I will have to pick a brand and call the manafacturer. Any thought's please post

I don't care for them and they are way too big for a first gen Camaro... IMO.

Needless to say I like the look of 18/19 combo

Could not remember if you mini tubbed yours...mine has a slight tub, just to the rails and running stock size corvetter rubber.

245/40/18 on 8.5 in front and 285/35/19 on 10 inches in rear.

Your car looks great with the 19's in back. I have been measuring and fabing tools for days now and am very frustrated trying to justify the 19x10's or 18x10's out back. All for 1"? My car is painted and I have not found anyone locally who has rolled fenders. One person told me to be very careful and I could rent a rolling tool and a heat gun to prevent rippling the paint. I just think maybe I should not go there. I still can fit a 275 wide tire on a 9" rim. Going to 10" increases the width about a third of an inch. Jason at Rushforth can make me a 19x9" wheel but I cant justify the extra $. Not cheap.. I know a tire has contour at the top. But withought the tire it's too hard to factor. My lesson learned is "better planning". Wheels last!not first. I still plan on going Baer 4 wheel Disc, Hotchkins suspension and lowering the car a lot. After all that I will probably be bored with the same wheels and want to mini tub my car like Todd Aikes Sick Black 69. It's only money right?

      If it is not tubbed

I would go with the 275 size tire. Nothing sucks more than having a rub. The lower you go the tighter it gets.

I like the 19 look in the rear, you can still find a tire that has some side wall. 20's look ok but the tire really gets small on the sidewall

18/19 just work for me on a 69. I saw a beautiful 69 that has 19/20's, but the sidewall were just a little short for my taste.

A 285/35/19 tire is big, I think it is 11.5 inches from side wall to side wall and right at 27 inches tall.

If you are about to spend the money and a new set of rims and think you are going to mini-tub in the future, I would bite the bullet and go ahead and tub now.

I can never understand any wheel larger than 18 inches on a first or second gen Camaro from a performance or styling standpoint.
