They are one of the many add ons I have put on the car to get the subframe rigid.. They are called G-Braces and you can check them out at NastyZ28.com...

I made the needed adjustments on my passenger G-Brace to fit the Tall Big Block Valve Covers.. I think it will work just as good as before, but now I might have to rethink where my Downpipe is going to go..

I have been wanting a set of those g-braces but I have the same engine valve cover combo.
by the looks of all the modifications I may just make a set of my own and bring the bar you clearanced over.

I got a call from the motor builder and I was hoping it was good new, it was and it wasnt.. The good new is that he is done doing the head work, the bad is that the head studs are the wrong ones.. :( Now he is trying to fidn th ecorrect studs locally.. Atleast he is getting closer...

Finally picking my motor up on Monday and I have been working on the car to get the body painted, so it is coming together.. Now all I need to do is get the tranny over to the tranny guy and have him build it..

Whoa....My eyes were playing tricks on me...

...at first, I thought you had cut the valve cover to fit around the G-Brace......then I scrolled up and saw that the tubing was notched and reinforced. Give yourself plenty of room for the motor to move over to that side when getting on the gas.

I picked up my motor today and my Valve Covers dont clear my rockers, this is the first time I have ever heard of a valve cover hitting the side of a rocker and not clearing.. To say the least I am not a very happy Viking right now, I would just like one easy day with the %#$&ing car!!!
