      dumb harness question

am getting ready to wire 69 camaro/LS1/T-56/ from scratch. I will have just fans, fuel pump and possibly electric seats. I am looking at Americann Autowire highay kit and also painless setup. Is the generic kit the way to go? Are there any big quality difference between painless vs. AAW? if anybody can shed some wisdom i would appreciate it as i am imtimidated by the wiring aspect of things! thanks Mark

Ignition? If seats, pump, and fans are all you have then it sounds like race-car only.

No headlights? Instrument lights? Brake and turn signals? Instument power? Radio? Backup lights? EFI? Courtesy lighting? Alternator? Horns? Heater?

The AAW harnesses are very nice and they are a sponsor here.

I left a few things out didn't I. I will have a retrofit LS1 harness probably from spertech or something like along those lines with a stock LS1 Computer, Autometer gauges, ididit steering column + everything you mentioned + AC since i am in Texas. I guess there is no sense in buying a 69 camaro kit, i just as well buy the highway kit? or the new builder Kit? Just looking to hear somebody tell me it is easy as hell! !
