      Engine Swaps and Insurance

So keeping my non-Chevy engine vehicle with it's "original" engine I can pretty much keep it looking stock which dictates the rate I pay (I use one of the classic car insurance companies.

If I do an LSx swap it's going to be pretty obvious I've modified the car, so I am expecting my insurance would go up. Have others found this to be true?

Good question, I never told the insurance company about my engine swap, but it may come up if something happens...
