Any updates on this project from over the summer? Maybe it's ongoing in a different thread now? One of my fav. looking renderings and some terrific fab work. Hope it hasn't died off...

67spedfreak, I'm doing a 67 vert along the same line as your, my body is not as bad. I'm interest in the suspension, your metal work, and all the choices you made in your project. Why did'nt you use mini tubs? why did you box in the trunk? maybe to have more room for the axle? what are the boxes on the side of the inside of the trunk? I'm just starting my project.

Sorry guys no updates. I have just been slammed.

I am waiting to get some US quarters and tail panel for this car. I feel it will be worth the extra cash. I am just not happy with the thickness of the import quarters.

I thought my 68 ragtop required a lot of work but it doesn't hold a candle to your 67. I replaced the quarter panels too. I found the parts to be of poor quaility. Meaning the parts offered from NPD required you cut it up in order for it to fit the convertible. Way more of a hassle than I expected. Good luck.

The frames raiils in my vert are Custom by Mikes custom cars. I made my own tubs because it was a 4in stretch over stock and the DSE tubs are only 2.75.

The closeouts in the trunk cover the narrower frame rails. And yes I modded the trunk floor for more Room for Plumbing and exhaust and stuff.

I just picked up this US tail light panel from Heartbeat. This is a very nice peice !

If anyone is interested I feel this panel is well worth the cash. Much thicker and crisper lines !
