      project wagon

Here are some pictures of a 65 tempest wagon I just purchased. It is a 326 and powerglide. The frame has some rust and I got a good used one with the car. I would love to buy a frame but Im on a budget. My plan is to modify the frame and get all new suspension. I have a 98 ls1 and a 6.0l block to chose from. I think im going to go with a 6 speed trans. Once the frame is a roller im going swap over the body. Im not really sure where to began so im reading alot of the post on here to get ideas. Im open to ideas, help, or just poke fun at me.

The car looks decent. The paint job is a 10 footer. once you crawl under you can see where the frame has been patched. Im going to drive the car as is till the frame is ready.

      Just plain awesome.
I been trying to sell my wife on "her dream wagon" built just like that for 3 years.
      With no luck.
Good luck can't wait to see our progress.

Sweet!!! That thing was on ebay for about a month. I had to sit on my hands more than once to keep from bidding on it. Good luck with it. Keep us posted

Wagons Rock! Check mine out - maybe there's some ideas in there.

I'm a fan of pure Pontiac V-8s, so I'd go that way (455 backed with a T56 would be hot) but to each their own.

The LS deal would be a little cooler if you get all the GTO engine covers for it.

Stance is everything, and with the right drop, wheels, and tires, it'll be a killer!

I love wagons! I think the gto covers would be cool. Is your frame from another wagon? If not maybe some one with more knowledge can help out but I think I was told the wagon frames were a lil differnt from the regular car frames. Now I could be wrong but you may want to check before getting to far into the extra frame. Sorry if Im wrong just trying to help...

Say, is that the car I've been seen for sale in the Legend for the last couple of months?

Love the GTO Wagon concept -- at some point I want to tackle a 66-67 PT GTO Wagon ...
