Bench Racing.
Hello. I have a bench racing question about my 1969 Camaro. The car is not yet finished, but when finished it will have a twin-turbo 427ci small block chevy that will be pushing around 1200hp and 1100lb.-ft to the rear wheels. It will also have a G-force 6-speed transmission, gear vendors over/underdrive, and either a 3.73 or 3.90:1 rear gear. I was wondering what kind of quarter mile times I could expect with a 3.90 rear gear? BTW, the car weighs 2,858 pounds with driver. thanks a million.

Hey Paul. The Alston front clip is a great unit. I would highly recommend it, because all of the bends are lazer bends, plus it is lazer welded, and to make matters even better, it weighs about 80 pounds less than the original subframe. The bolt-in was very easy and I hope to get some pics on the site pretty soon. Hey, you wouldn't know of any ways to gain sponsorship to finish building my project would you? The wife is really starting to get mad because she is pregnant with our first child and she say's that if I don't finish the car by the end of the year I have to get rid of it or she is leaving. She doesn't understand that my car has been in my family since 1969 when my grandfather father bought it new. AHHHHHH!

I wish i did because then mine would not be taking so long. I am getting married in october so money for me is pretty tight also. I am lucky that my fiance understands and actually told me that if i sold it she would not marry me.
she knows it is my first love. But i would love to se pics of the frame and how well it sits. What size wheels are you going with?
Good luck with the baby.
