      Metal Works Performance Engineering site

Guys, Check out the Metal Works Performance Engineering site that just went live. I know first hand that these guys do high end fabrication and design when it comes to projects. Look for a lot of really cool projects and products in the upcoming months. You guys are going to love what's coming next!

      Looking great!

Kip and the crew there are a great bunch, I've spoken with them on multiple occasions.

I didn't see the Ballistic 69 Camaro that was built by them on the website. Have Kip come by here and post some pics of it, as it was a pretty sweet ride.

      Lookin Good!!!

Man I love that 2nd Gen RS! The Ballistic 69 was about as bitchin as a car could be, so much attention to detail. I have talked with them before too, very willing to discuss products and services while they are working, which means that they take care of business! Can't wait to see a 70-73 roll cage setup available, I'm still holding out, will be looking to buy between March and June.

      Metal Works

If anyone is intersted in the English wheels I made, Kip has a set of drawings for it. He gave me quotes on wheels and everything but there were not enough guys wanting to buy the wheels. He may still be interested in making them.

Kip and Mike were real nice guys. My wife and I met them at the first Pro-touring dinner and spent most of the evening with them.

      Hey Mike,

The site looks awesome!!!!! Thanks for the credit on the rendering. How's the car coming along? I still would like to talk to you about the rear 3/4 view. I've been so buried with projects since SEMA that I feel like I'm working 2 full time jobs. I haven't forgotten you. I also have your email so we should get in touch here soon. Last of the huge projects will be done next week atleast for another month I should have a small window of opportunity.
I look around the site some more.

Hey, who's the best person to contact over there? I want to get one of their products and just want to be sure it's available. Thanks.....I emailed Kip but wanted to make sure I wasn't bugging the wrong person!

      Re: Metal Works

      Hey John,
The Chevelle Project kind of stalled out for a while due to me changing the build plan and the direction that I wanted to go with the project. Now that I have put the project completly in the hands of the guys at Metal Works the project is proceeding along nicely. In the near future you are going to see some really inovative fabrication and design on this project, but I can't let the beast out of it's cage yet. That will be at Kip's descresion along with a few other killer projects that he is working on over there.

Keith, the best person to talk to would be Kip Valdez. He is out in the shop working most of the day so the best thing to do is to leave a message on his voice mail and I guarantee he will return your call.
