      Rushforth, Tough Choice, Please Help!

I got in on the Rushforth sale that PRRC was offering for the past week.
Tim was nice enough to give me a little extra time (with a down payment) to make my final decision on which wheel I want.
I was trying to make this decision on my own but, it’s proving to be too difficult of a choice.

Keep in mind I will most probably order my wheels with a Black or Smoked Titanium center.

Thanks to Allkar for the great photochops.

These wheels aren’t exactly what Rushforth is offering but close enough to their “Livewire”, “Strutter”, “Super Spoke” & maybe “Fuel” to give you an idea (see last image).
Five spoke w/ Black center & Chrome outer?

Again, these wheels aren’t exactly what Rushforth is offering but close enough to their “Rated-X” to give you an idea (see last image).

Rated-X w/ Smoked Titanium center & Chrome outer?

Or Rated-X w/ Black center & Chrome outer?

Because the Fuel's are so new I had to give Allkar the closest thing I could find.

Thanks again Allkar for this example of Black Fuel

      Super Spokes

This is just a reference to the actual Rushforth wheels that I am interested in.
Keep in mind I will most probably order my wheels with a Black or Smoked Titanium center.

      Rated-X Black/Chrome

      Thanks,

Glad you got it when the getting was good Chris...now it's decision time, huh?Choosing the right wheels the first time will leave you more nervous then getting married, lol.
My .02 cents worth is this...your car has a lot of black going on with it so black centers with a polished hoop is a natural and is what I would do if this was my car.I like what you did with the Rated-X style wheel in that last picture but to me,that wheel is a tad too busy for your bodystyle,IMHO.

How do you feel about doing Fuel's in that same treatment?
See if you can photochop that because I think that would look killer, personally.
The Superspokes look good too though man...I'd still like to see the Fuel's first.

      Thanks John,

I like the Fuel & Super Spoke. I don't want to be too big of a burden on Allkar but, if he (or anyone else) wants to photochop some pics for me I'd appreciate it very much.

i think something like the fuel would look good with a black center. something i like to do on cars with lot's of black is to do something other than black on the wheel to give a little contrast, like silver or the titanium color. your car is right on the edge of of whether black or silver/gray wheels would look good. my car has so much black on it that i think black wheels would have just been too much

If you can get a good pic with a Fuel wheel mounted on a car I'll chop them.

I would tend to lean closer to the first pic(5 spoke/ black center/Chrome outer. Blends in a bit better with the car I think.

I think Rated X, Flat Black center, Polished Outer. Would match the stripe on your car really well...

To Modern? man you'll hate most of the cars on here if you don't like those wheels on the 60s cars. Thats the Pro-Touring look.

I don't know, maybe one of the guys from Rushforth, Drivers Inc or PRRC can chime in on that.

I'm pretty much down to these 2 wheels.....
      Livewire & Rated-X

Here is the tally including Pro-Touring, Lateral-G & Family
Since I’ve decided I like the Livewire, I put all other 5 spoke (Fuel & Super Spoke) votes in the Livewire tally.

      Totaled votes:
      Livewire (Black) = 8
      Rated-X (Black) = 13
      Rated-X (Smoked) = 3
      ================
      Total Rated-X = 16

That is an average of Rated-X 2:1 over Livewire.

Now, let me tell you these 2 rims were my original 2 favorites, but……
…… but…… but, I must say that the Livewire is my very 1st original vision of what I wanted before I ever seen the Rated-X.
I am so torn. I love both of these wheels so much. They give the car totally different looks bc they are 2 totally different styles.
There is a part of me that wants to go against the popular vote & get the Livewires but, I really do want what wheel looks best on my car so, if the majority of the people think the Rated-X looks best then maybe that’s what I should get.

Thanks to everyone who has participated in helping me with this.

      Stressed out,
      ~Chris

Polls are neat and all but what matters most is what YOU think since YOU'LL be the one paying the bills and YOU'LL be the one driving that car...

      What does Chris like best...?

Personally...for what it's worth,I still think the classic 5-spoke Fuels fit the bodystyle of your car better again...IMHO.
Seriously though, you could not go wrong with either of your choices.
