      Recommend a rim [71 Camaro]

Recommend anything. I'm open to suggestions. I have a few styles in mind (Torq Lite , coys, etc) but I'm more confused on the color of rim I should go with due to my current scheme on the car.

I'm thinking if I go black centers it will kind of overkill the blacked out chrome? Idk I'd just like to hear some opinions. Thanks.

      Dennis,

Whats wrong with the ones on the car in the pic. They are sweet. lol.

I'm looking at Rushforth Livewire's with a gunmetal centre for my 71 bird.

Great suggestion! Thanks!!! But seriously, check out the September issue of Chevy High Performance on page 42. I drew up their Project Performer 73 Camaro with a few different sets of our wheels. Drop us a PM with your email if you want to see some pics or the renderings.

They look okay but the look is old school and I'm not a big fan. Plus with those balloon tires the car rides like a tank. Looking for a 17-18" rim and low profile tires.

I'll check it out Jay, thanks. I'd send you a PM but I don't have the money for renderings if I want to afford the rims ahhaa.

Anyone have any opinions on what rim would look good on the car?

I added some 19/20 to my Z28... I saw the your Camaro on Craigslist here in the bay area...

Here is a pic of mine, one is from myspace ( I know, I do it to keep track of my kids) the other is an attachment. I am changing them to some Rushfords / Drivers inc wheels. Black centers polished lip 19/20 Same size you see here...

Your car looks great . Hope your kids are like 13 though. No need to keep track of them on their myspace...haha I'd be pissed if my parents tried that.

I think the torq thrust II's would look good in anthracite. I know alot of people don't like them but they look good on these cars.

I thought about getting a black set for mine too.

Here's a set that we did for a forum member. A very simple and clean look. We can powdercoat the centers on any of our wheels if you wanted a dark center instead of polished. The endless series would run you $1495 for a set of 18's, a little more if you wanted to powdercoat them.

Any pictures on how those would look with a powdercoated black center?

Unfortunately I don't have any. Perhaps there's someone who could do a photoshop?

There's also a tool on our website that allows you to try different wheels styles on car pictures. There's a 1970 Camaro that you can use. Check it out by going to the website...www.introwheels.com and then going to the "wheel factory" section.

Here is a link to some older pics I took with 17's on my ride. There are alot of great options out there. It took me good amount of time to figure out what I wanted.
